Skydiving is a weather dependent sport and due to the ever-changing nature of the weather we can never guarantee that your skydive will go ahead on the day of your jump. In order to prioritise both the safety of our customers and our staff we will only jump in suitable conditions as instructed by our governing body ‘British Skydiving.’
A decision on the forecast is made on the day of the skydive by drawing on a number of localised forecasts, anemometer readings and actual readings taken on-site. As a centre which has been interpreting forecasts and making decisions on the weather for over 25 years, we often find that long-range forecasts are inaccurate which is why we make our decision on the day of the jump to obtain the most up-to-date information possible.
Tandem students can call the centre at the below times for a weather check on the day of their skydive. Please do not call us beforehand as the information may not be available and we will ask you to call back at the specified times:
